Virtual address

« Back to Glossary Index

A Virtual Address is a service-provided mailing address that businesses can use instead of their home or office address. It allows you to receive mail, which is then scanned or forwarded to you. Virtual addresses are especially popular with home-based businesses that want to keep their residential address private. They can also make your LLC appear more professional, especially if the virtual address is in a prestigious location. Unlike a registered agent, a virtual address is primarily for mail and business image, not for receiving legal service of process.
