Department of Revenue

The Department of Revenue (sometimes called the Department of Taxation) is the state agency that administers taxes. Once your LLC is formed, you may need to register with this department to collect sales tax, pay income taxes, or handle employer withholding. The Department of Revenue also issues resale certificates and business tax accounts. Filing and paying state taxes on time is essential to keep your LLC compliant.
